Walker Paterson

Walker joined Seiferling Law as an articling student in May 2022 after completing his Juris Doctor at the University of Saskatchewan, College of Law. Prior to entering law, Walker completed a Bachelor of Arts Honours in Sociology at the University of Saskatchewan achieving High Honours distinction, as well as the Dean’s List. During his studies, Walker enjoyed working in the service and retail industries, as well as in academic roles, having served as a research assistant for Professor Dwight Newman of the College of Law during periods of the school year and his summers during law school. Walker represented the College as a member of the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot team, which competed in both the national and international levels of competition in the spring of 2021.

During his tenure in law school, he served as Class Representative to the Faculty and the Logistic and Administrative Director for the Law Students’ Association, was a member of the Outreach Committee for Legal Follies, and volunteered with Pro Bono Students Canada.

In the community, he currently sits as the Vice President of Saskatoon Community Mediation Services. Outside of the office, Walker enjoys golf, downhill skiing, scuba-diving, and film photography.
