Gillian Fortlage

Gillian earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree majoring in Criminology and minoring in Psychology from the University of Manitoba, being named to the Dean’s List and having her name listed on the Faculty of Arts Wall of Recognition. She then moved to Saskatoon to study at the College of Law at the University of Saskatchewan and earned her Juris Doctor. Throughout her Undergraduate degree and time at law school, Gillian worked for the Federal Government in various roles through the Federal Student Work Experience Program (FSWEP), expanding her knowledge greatly in areas such as Immigration.

Gillian was involved in many aspects of student life at the College of Law, including volunteering with Pro Bono Students Canada (PBSC), taking on the role of VP Social for the Corporate Law Club, being an active member of the Law Students Association, and participating in social events such as Legal Follies or Law Games.

When Gillian is not in the office, and she is not off travelling the globe, she can be found playing music, gardening, golfing, or enjoying a good book.
