Articling Student

Nick Hatch

Nick will join the firm in 2023 as an articling student. Nick was named to the Dean’s List while working toward his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Linguistics before being accepted into the College of Law at the University of Saskatchewan. During both undergrad and his first year of law school, he spent his evenings and weekends managing the operation of the homestay business he shared with his wife, along with raising their first daughter. During his second year of law school, he welcomed the birth of his second daughter, joined the law school band as the drummer, and accepted a summer position with the Ministry of Justice in Regina.

Nick gained valuable administrative law experience while working at the Office of Public Registry Administration in the summer of 2022. He has also volunteered as a Maggie’s Early Learning Centre board member since 2018 and continues to advise friends and family on renovation projects related to his previous 13-year career in the construction industry.

When not studying or working, Nick enjoys spending time with his family and improving his artistic skills. He also enjoys meeting new people and looks forward to hosting guests in the home he is building with his wife.
